Why a single batch matters
When a protocol runs over weeks or months, drawing every vial from one documented batch means a result is not confounded by a change in the input material. That is the main reason laboratories buy at kit quantity rather than reordering single vials. The second reason is cost: the per-vial figure at kit pricing is far below the single-vial price.
